From my grandmother’s kitchen to the battlefields of a 30-year military career, canning has been my lifeline.

As a young boy, I learned to hunt, fish, and garden with her, surrounded by jars of home-canned goodness.

After retiring, I rediscovered this passion, turning it into a mission to help others in our community and church become self-sufficient.

After your jars have cooled for 12–24 hours, press the center of each lid. If it pops back, the jar didn’t seal properly. Store unsealed
